The New iPhone Xs and Xr:

Which is right for you?

Apple recently announced the release of their new iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr.

All three models will be the first to feature Apple’s own A12 Bionic CPU, the first commercially available 7nm processor, and the notched display, as debuted by the iPhone X in 2017.

As with most iPhone generation releases, the general public are left wondering; ‘is this the right phone for me?‘. Below, we have outlined the new model highlights, as well as how they compare to the two previous iPhone generations:

Unsurprisingly, Apple has chosen to build upon the iPhone X, rather than the iPhone 8. Therefore, the new models look pretty much the same as the iPhone X at a glance.

However, the new model features an updated camera- including the ability to adjust the depth of field in photos-, a 512GB storage option, and is IP68 rated.

For those who don’t want to splash out on the new iPhone XS or XS Max, Apple has released the more affordable iPhone XR. As well as the A12 Bionic Processor and notched design, the iPhone XR features an updated single lens camera and a choice of six different coloured finishes.
